For a long time, I have wondered what freedom is worth to me. At first, it was something I could never reach. Just like that time when I stretched my hand out the window, reaching for the truth, only to be hurled back into my room with full force. Or the first time I was able to breathe in the fresh ocean breeze, and my heart felt ... light. I remember that blue and green, and how I suddenly felt as though I could float between them. I remember you. The trust you placed in me. I have spent many years in two worlds, and no one has ever been able to give me the warmth you gave me. That smile that has stayed with me to this day. And yet, I no longer know whether you really smiled that way. You fought for my freedom alongside me for so long. And now, as I sit here and dedicate these words to you, I have to ask you: Where are you?
