It was in every part of me in ways that I could not explain. That barcode on the back of my neck had become every part of my life. Every day when I woke up in that treacherous basement and looked at the light pouring into the window I felt it. I felt the sear of the iron on my neck, the chains cutting into my wrists, the knives carving initials into my back, filthy men claiming me as theirs even though I was not.~
-She was mine, I was sure of it. She had the most tragic story of them all, and the scars crossed along her back I could trace with my tongue. She was dangerous, but so was I. And anyone that tried to get in my way would taste what wrath truly was.-
